I was inspired in a way I wasn't expecting at all with this book. The author speaks eloquently of the perils of gaming and how addicts use their video games to escape reality. They lose their identity to assume identities of their video characters and get lost in a false world, often because the real world around them is too hard to face. This only propels them deeper into dysfunction. When we don't know our identity and take on false ones, we die. What inspired me most is this idea of running. This book has given me, a non-video gamer, a desire to meet life's challenges head on, more than ever, to face the real world and all its uncomfortable moments. You don't have to be a gamer to shy away from the tough stuff, but learning how they take this "hiding" to an extreme, and how it destroys them, makes me want no part in it. I'm propelled to move forward. - Michele Keen, Amazon Review
